• Every player's Stableford points from all three rounds are added together. Most points wins.
• The night round counts. Each player's own score on Day 2 goes into his 3-day total as well as his team's score.
• Points per hole against your net score: net albatross 5, eagle 4, birdie 3, par 2, bogey 1, double bogey or worse 0.
• Once you can't score a point on a hole, pick up. This keeps the pace up and changes nothing on the card.
• Mark scores gross on the card. Your marker counts your shots, and the card is signed by both players and handed in straight after the round.

• Use your current WHS Handicap Index as at the day before departure. It stays fixed for the whole trip.
• Course handicap: at the Pines, read from the club's published EGA chart for the tee played. At Carya, use Index × Slope ÷ 113 + (Course Rating − Par). Carya's own chart gives the same numbers.
• Playing handicap = course handicap × 95%, rounded to the nearest whole number (.5 rounds up). The same playing handicap is used for the individual and team scores on Day 2, so each player needs only one number per round.
• Strokes are received on holes in stroke-index order from that course's scorecard. Over 18 shots means a second shot on the lowest-index holes.
• The Handicaps section on this page is the official list. Check your numbers the night before each round.

• Teams: 3 teams of 3 and 2 teams of 4, each playing as its own group. No 5-balls.
• Draw: rank all 17 by Handicap Index. The two middle-ranked players (9th and 10th) are the extras. The other 15 split into Pot A (lowest 5), Pot B (next 5) and Pot C (highest 5). Each team gets one from each pot, and the two extras join two different teams by draw.
• Scoring: on every hole the best 2 Stableford scores from the team count. Team total is the sum over 18 holes.
• 4-ball sit-out rota: in a team of 4, one player's score is ignored on each hole so every team counts 2 from 3. Everyone still plays every hole and his score still counts for the individual event.
  Player 1: holes 1, 5, 9, 13, 17 · Player 2: 2, 6, 10, 14, 18 · Player 3: 3, 7, 11, 15 · Player 4: 4, 8, 12, 16
• After dark: Carya is floodlit, so normal white balls are fine. Search for no more than one minute once the lights are on. If the ball isn't found, pick up and score 0 on the hole. The 21:00 transfer back won't wait.
• Under Carya's local rules, lighting towers are immovable obstructions. You get a free drop only when a tower is in your stance or swing, not when it is on your line of play.
• Team tie: the better last-9 team score, then last 6, 3 and 1.

Groups and tee times follow the standings after Day 2. The leaders go out last.

If two players are level on points for a place in the draw, the better Day 2 score goes later. If they're still level, it's decided by countback on Day 2 (last 9, 6, 3, 1).

Countback on the Day 3 card: last 9 holes, then last 6, last 3, last hole. If still tied, repeat on the Day 2 card, then Day 1.

• Play ready golf. Carya's marshals expect a 4-ball round in no more than 4 hours 30 minutes and will move slow groups on.
• Rules of Golf apply, plus each club's local rules. Carya: heather is ground under repair with a mandatory free drop, and there's a drop zone on the 6th.
• Any dispute goes to the committee (the organiser plus two players not involved). Their decision is final, and settled at the bar.

• Best round on each day.
• Longest drive and nearest the pin under the lights at Carya, on holes named on the first tee.
• Wooden spoon for 17th place overall, with a forfeit on the last night.
